In this Gameplay Video, Ready Set Indie Games plays Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes on PC.

Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes is the sequel to Zombie Rollerz, which was released on the Apple app store in 2020. As mentioned above the game was provided to me for free by the publishers and developers of the game, and I do want to take the time to thank them for providing me with a free copy of Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes for PC, to play for this review.

The game starts off with you playing as Burnjamin, who appears to be a knight who has lost his memories, of the last game and must go through the tutorial to remember how to fight the zombie waves. He also must fight the waves of zombies in order to find his friends from the last game, even though he barely remembers them.

The game on PC can be played with both keyboard/mouse and controller. I opted into playing with the controller as it feels more natural to me, and since this is a pinball game having the triggers act as flippers worked well for me. The controls once you play the game are pretty solid and self explantory.

I really like the art style of the game and even the gameplay of the game was a lot of fun. The game says it is a tower defense game, and to some extent, I supposed it is, with having to protect your flippers from the zombies, but it's not like you can set up bigger defenses like in a traditional tower defense game. Instead, you are given special abilities to keep the zombies at bay from reaching your flippers.

One thing I thought was interesting and different, is that the game did have bosses in the game. I like that it wasn't just a simple wash and repeat where you are just continuously fighting zombies, which was a breath of fresh air, even if the boss was a little difficult.

Overall, Zombie Rollerz: Pinball Heroes is a really fun game and I highly recommend it, if you are looking for a game that is outside of the box.
