Ready Set Indie Games Live Streams: Seed of Life (PC)

The Following game Seed of Life was provided to me for free by the developers and publishers. Therefore I would like to thank the developer/publisher for providing a free copy of the game to play on my stream.

In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Seed of Life on PC.

Seed of Life is a puzzle platforming game from MadLight and Leonardo Interactive that was released on August 11m 2021. Before I begin my review I would like to thank both MadLight and Leonardo Interactive for providing me with a free copy of the game for me to play on stream and for this review.

Seed of Life puts you into the shoes of Cora, a young girl who appears to be the last survivor of her home Lumia. To save the planet that she loves Cora has decided that she is going to reactive the Seed of Life to give the planet a Sun again with the hopes that this will save the planet.

The game is absolutely gorgeous and I love how beautiful the game is. However, I did take issue with the voice acting in the game as it feels like it's just monotone. It didn't seem like Cora had any life to her and that the voice actor/actress was simply just reading the lines which to me took away from the game a bit. I liked that the game did have voice acting in it, just wish the voice acting was a little stronger.

The controls for the game were really fluid as I played this with a controller, as I play most platforming games with a controller. If you are someone who enjoys playing games with keyboard and mouse you will be glad to know that you can also enjoy the game with keyboard and mouse. However, I do want to point out that Cora only runs one way so there is no speeding her up, at least from what I played of the game so far.

The story I do enjoy and the puzzles do make you really think, which I love any game where the puzzles aren't too hard or too easy. They are balanced very well for the game. In addition, if you are a person who wants to just enjoy the story of the game there is a story mode for the game. Then there is the normal mode that is the standard for the game, and if you want to be a little more adventurous and require a challenge there is a hard mode for the game. So no matter what type of gaming you are there is a mode for you to play.

Overall, the game is pretty good and I do recommend it.
