The Following game Doki Doki Ragnarok was provided to me for free by the developers/publishers of the game. I would like to thank the developers/publishers for providing a free copy of the game to play on my stream.

The following Live Stream Footage of  Doki Doki Ragnarok is actually a Preview of the game. Therefore it is important to know that the footage you see may or may not be featured in the final version of the games and that there may be some noticeable bugs in the game.

In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Doki Doki Ragnarok on PC.

I first saw Doki Doki Ragnorak pop up during the Summer Steam Next Festival and I wanted to play it, but sadly didn't get a chance to. So when the opportunity to be able to cover the game this time around came I immediately jumped at the opportunity to do so. As the game is not fully available and even though I was giving a full copy of the game. I only played twenty minutes of the game as a way to get the game out there. Before I go into my preview of the game I will keep what I talk about what I showed as a Preview. Once the game releases, I will go back and do more of a review for the game. Also, before I begin I would like to take the time to thank Brutal Hack for providing me with a copy of the game to play on my stream and to write this preview.

Doki Doki Ragnarok is a dating sim in which you play as a Viking. You get to select from three different Viking types. Feminine Grunt, Masculine Grunt, mute which I can only say that it would be female, male, and non-binary. After selecting the grunt of your chosen, you are then greeted by Odin, who tells you that you must go out and pillage villages in his name. However, there is a catch to pillaging these villages. Not only are you pillaging them, but you are getting them to fall in love with you.

Yes, you read it right you have to get the Village to fall for you as well, and as crazy as that sounds, from what I played of the game it actually isn't that crazy of an idea. I absolutely had fun with the two villages that I pillaged and really enjoyed the comical relief of the dating sim. Yes, it's a dating sim but it's a well-done dating sim. Everything from its art style, the music, and even the objective was amazing and I will admit I had a hard time pulling myself away from the game. I am really looking forward to when the game releases so that I can go back and play it some more and see what else is in store for my Viking lover/warrior.
