Ready Set Indie Games Live Streams: Steam Next Fest: Tuned Turtle Demo (PC)

The following Live Stream Footage of Tuned Turtle is the Steam Next Fest Demo and therefore is either an alpha version or beta version demo of the game. Therefore, the footage you see may or may not be featured in the final version of the game, also there may be some noticeable bugs in the game.

In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Tuned Turtle Demo on PC.
Tuned Turtle is an Action Platformer based on the story The Tortoise and the Hare. In the game Troy, the fastest Turtle is training to go against Loko Rabbit, athlete of Dirty Duke, a hedgehog or porcupine who has a lot of riches due to Dirty Duke cutting corners on his luxurious pool the pool breaks and floods the village below and in the process injuries Troy. Coming back from being out for the day, the Turtle Twins Tommy and Tina see the village in its state. They go over to see Troy who askes one of them to take over for him in the race.

Of course, Dirty Duke isn't going to have any of this and as the race starts and one of the twins run across the bridge Dirty Duke has the bridge blown up, which causes the twin to lose their shell. However, Master Cheng and his crew are there to help construct new shells for the twin and hopefully help them win the race and save the village.
I really like how the developers took something as simple as a children's tale and made it into a video game. Growing up as a child I did enjoy the Tortoise and The Hare or The Turtle and the Hare as it has been told to me in both ways. The controls of the game were pretty solid and I loved the art style of the game. I also like that the game provided a challenge, so it wasn't exactly too easy and was still a lot of fun. I also liked some of the puzzle presents in the game as well. Overall, a great game and I do recommend it.

If you would like to play for yourself, you can get the demo during Steam Next Fest which is going on from June 16 - June 22, 2021. I am not sure if the demo will be available after that time so if you like what you see of the gameplay be sure to wishlist the game on steam if you enjoy it as well:
