In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Merek's Market on PC.

Merek's Market is a time management game in which you play Merek a crafter and shop owner and you are in charge of running your market. One of the main things I liked about Merek's Market is that it was like a traditional time management game. On some levels, you do get to craft items to sell to patrons and I will admit I enjoy the crafting as it wasn't over complicated and I even enjoyed the small mini-game you played in order to obtain payment from the Patrons.

Another game that was interesting there is a game in which you can change the price of items that are being sold to others and they pay you the coin. It's not much of a haggle game, as it is listening to the customer and offering a price that is reasonable to them. I liked that portion of the game as well, although I think I would love it more if the customer could try to counter what you offer and you choose rather or not to charge them less or more, almost as if Merek is insulted that they offered a price lowing then what he was offering or him perhaps rethinking it and saying okay how about this price instead. That would be really cool to add to that particular mini-game.

I loved the voice acting in the game and the controls were really smooth. The only thing I do want to point out as well is that there is no way to exit the game on PC at the moment. So you have to tab out to exit the game or use alt and F4, which leaves me to believe that it may be made with Big Picture mode in mind, but adding an exit feature to the menu would be a great feature for the game as well.

Overall, I really enjoyed Merek's Market and cannot wait for the full launch of the game.
