Ready Set Indie Games Live Streams: Usurper Demo (PC)

The following Live Stream Footage of Usurper Demo is either an alpha version, beta version, early access or, demo of the game. Therefore, the footage you see may or may not be featured in the final version of the game, also there may be some noticeable bugs in the game.

In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Usurper Demo on PC.

Usurper is a rogue-lite souls-like game in which you can play solo or against others. In Usurper, you play as a being without a physical body, in which you possess the body of your enemies and heroes to serve as your vessel in order to get out of the crystal prison. The game looks really good and I really love the art style of the game. The camera angle to me felt like it was somewhat top-down but the camera angle works very well for this game. I love a good souls game and enjoy a challenge and the game certainly offers a difficult challenge that those who are fans of the Souls game will appreciate and love.

The game uses both a keyboard and mouse as well as a controller. I will admit I felt that it was a lot to remember for keyboard and mouse controls, however, someone who plays with keyboard and mouse would probably feel right at home with those controls. For myself, I prefer playing with the controller, and as this is a demo in the future I would like it if the game could recognize which input the player is playing with so that the correct button scheme could be shown during the tutorial.

Overall, for this to be just a demo I thought it was well made and am looking for to seeing how the game does with its release.
