In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Biomutant on Xbox One.

Biomutant is an action role-playing game (ARPG) that lets you control one of several mutated rodent-like creatures, in a journey to save the world tree and rid the world of the world eaters.

The game offers you the choice of six different rodent-like creatures to choose from which are Primal, Dumson, Rex, Hyla, Fip, Murgel, and five different classes that you can choose from. The five classes are Dead-Eye - A skillful rogue, Commando - An Operative of an Elite Special Operations Force, Psi-Freak - Those who experiment with psionic powers and mutations, Saboteur - A cunning skilled explorer trained to be good in the wilderness and suburbs, and the last is Sentinel - Your tank class. In my playthrough, I choose to play as a Psi-Freak.

If you played games like Fable, then Biomutant is going to give you some nostalgia because from the sound of the Narrators voice I got feels from Fable, and in a sense, Biomutant is kinda like Fable, mixed with Jade Empire and then add animals. A lot of people tend to complain about the Narrator's voice. However, I don't find the Narrator's voice annoying with his motivational speaking. As your character is someone who does Kung-Fu they need to be well-disciplined and when it comes to being disciplined I do imagine that the motivational speaking and quotes do come to play in order to remain disciplined within your craft.

Speaking of Crafting, the game also does feature a crafting system. So you can craft your weapons and armors to make them fit you and your playing style, which I thought was really cool. The controls for the game are really solid. The only thing I had an issue with is that the load times on the XB1 seem to be a little slow. I do have the game on PC as well, and I haven't had a chance to play it to compare the two, but so far I am liking what I'm seeing of Biomutant and do highly recommend the game.
