In this Live Stream, Ready Set Indie Games plays Flowing Lights on XB1.

Flowing Lights appears to be a sort of shmup and it did remind me of Space Invaders just in a 3D format. I typically like shmups but for some odd reason I really couldn't gel with Flowing Lights. One of the things is a lot of the game left me a little confused. When I played before stream it told me that catching yellow lights gave health, but then it turned out that touching the yellow lights killed you. Another issue that I had with the game is that the controls were a bit much for a shmup.

I appreciate the other ways of shooting such as the slingshot or the launcher, but then right after I got used to using it one way, there was another segment that told me you don't have to drawback to use it anymore which left me a little confused. So that controls were a bit confusing, they moved very well, but all of the access stuff for using the launcher and things like that became a little overbearing in the game for me.
